Groundbreaking of Trimble’s new office building

The groundbreaking ceremony of Trimble’s new office building in Espoo, Finland, took place 2 October 2019. Participants in the ceremony included policy makers from the City of Espoo, the project owner insurance company Varma, the contractor company NCC, and Trimble Solutions Finland.
This was an important day for Veikko, the mascot of Trimble’s Energy & Public Administration uni. It was put in a time capsule and cast in the cornerstone to travel in time.
When this location is surveyed in the future, Veikko will be there to represent the age when the technical departments of Finnish municipalities moved over to more flexible and cost-efficient operations using the Trimble Locus Cloud service.
